Academics

Harvard Students Make the Grade

Academic rigor and relevance are evident in all of the classrooms at Harvard Elementary School.  Students are challenged daily in the core academic subjects through integrated and differentiated instruction.  Teachers integrate the subjects as part of their IB Planner and Transdisciplinary Theme.  Differentiation takes place when students are instructed at their level of understanding and retaught skills using grade level standards.  All classrooms are self-contained and taught by one teacher.  This enhances a teachers understanding of the whole child.
